ABOUT AMBER NIGHT

Amber has been owned by words for as long as she can remember. As a child, they drove her to the depths of the basement where she buried herself in books, rarely to come up for air. They trailed her across countries, through science, dance, and heartbreak – and discoveries of cultural differences – in her adopted hometown of London.

They kept her writing, sometimes in snatches, often in shadows. Now married with a daughter, she couldn’t keep them quiet any longer: they demanded freedom in the light of day. And so she tells tales of diverse love, dreaming of a day the invisible boundaries which separate us need not exist at all. 

A poet at heart, Amber likes to explore the depths of what it means to be human. She looks beneath the surface differences which divide us to find the common ground which unites us in our struggles to be seen. She’s also partial to a hefty dose of sensuality and steam. 

And, of course, to tackling that timeless question: what does it really mean, to love and to be loved?
